Senior Software Engineer

Our client is looking for a driven Software Engineer to join their dynamic team here in Malta. This role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities including trading operations, systems programming and algorithm development. 

Your responsibilities:

• Oversee diverse exchange-facing trading systems, ensuring seamless operation and compliance with industry standards.
• Utilize analytics and surveillance tools to monitor market trends and identify trading patterns.
• Configure, test, and implement trading technologies.
• Manage day-to-day trading operations.

Requirements

• At least three years of experience within the same role
• Experience with performance oriented design and optimization, Systems Programming and appreciation for software quality
• Understanding of data structures and algorithm development
• Extensive knowledge in statistics and experience with machine learning
• Proficiency in Linux
• Understanding of Network programming
• Preferable experience with AWS and Docker
• Knowledge of C++, Java or Julia would be considered an asset
• Being highly motivated and driven.

Education and Experience

• Technical or Quantitative Degree
