.NET Developer

Our client, operating in IT, is looking for a motivated and experienced .NET Developer to join their team in Malta: 

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of a new tax product using .NET 9, C#, and ASP.NET.
• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack features (front-end and back-end).
• Integrate with HMRC APIs using JSON for secure tax data exchange.
• Develop and maintain user-friendly interfaces using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Write, optimize, and manage SQL database queries.
• Ensure high levels of accuracy and reliability in all code.
• Perform thorough self-testing to ensure products are production-ready before review.
• Work independently, taking full ownership of projects from concept to delivery.
• Collaborate with a small, supportive team and respond constructively to feedback.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of ASP.NET, C#, SQL, JSON, JavaScript, HTML, CSS.
• Experience building desktop applications (not web-first).
• Demonstrated ability to integrate with external APIs.
• Proven track record of working independently with minimal supervision.
• High attention to detail and a strong commitment to self-testing and quality.

Education and Experience

• 2+ years of full-time experience in .NET / C# development (full-stack)
• In possession of an MQF Level 6
• Located in Malta
