Our client, operating in the Gaing industry, is looking for a professional Hybrid Cloud Architect to join their team:
The Hybrid Cloud Architect plays a critical role within the Architecture Team, leading the design, implementation, and governance of hybrid infrastructure solutions across cloud (primarily AWS) and on-prem environments. This is a hands-on role focused on delivering scalable, secure, and cost-effective platforms that support innovation, performance, and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement secure, scalable, and cost-optimized hybrid infrastructure solutions across compute, storage, networking, and security.
- Lead both cloud and on-prem migrations and modernizations, including roadmap development, cost-benefit analysis, and execution strategies.
- Manage hybrid networking (VPCs, VPNs, transit gateways, DNS, routing, load balancers) and identity (IAM, RBAC, identity federation) with a focus on Zero Trust principles.
- Collaborate with engineering, security, and compliance teams to ensure infrastructure meets business and regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, gaming regulations).
- Implement and maintain container platforms (e.g., EKS), CI/CD pipelines, and ephemeral environments.
- Enforce governance around cloud usage, tagging, cost management (FinOps), and lifecycle practices.
- Enhance monitoring, observability, and disaster recovery for hybrid environments; lead issue resolution and tool evaluation.
- Build infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation); automate provisioning, scaling, patching, and teardown.
- Evaluate and integrate new technologies to continuously improve platform performance, security, and cost-efficiency.
- Serve as a subject matter expert and mentor across teams, supporting adoption of cloud-native, on-prem, and hybrid solutions.
- Maintain architecture documentation and standards; lead PoCs and stay informed on emerging trends in cloud, infrastructure, and platform tooling.
Requirements
- Expertise in AWS services (multi-account architecture, VPC, IAM, EKS), hybrid cloud design, and workload migration.
- Strong knowledge of networking, security, and infrastructure automation (Terraform, Python, Bash).
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and CI/CD systems.
- Familiarity with FinOps principles and observability best practices.
Education and Experience
- Proven experience in hybrid infrastructure or cloud architecture roles.
- AWS Solutions Architect Associate certification (Professional preferred); experience with Azure or GCP is a plus.
Benefits
- Hybrid working
- Performance Bonus
