Technician – Service and Installation

  Central Malta

Our client, a privately owned family business with experience in import and supply of products are currently looking for a Service and Installation Technician to join their growing team. Reporting to the Engineer, your responsibilities will include: 


  • Conduct on-site installation of pumps 
  • Perform system tests and commissioning to ensure optimal functionality. 
  • Execute routine maintenance checks on pump systems to identify and address potential issues. 
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot problems with pumps, motors, and related components. 
  • Implement repairs and replacements of faulty parts, ensuring minimal downtime for clients. 
  • Provide detailed evaluations and recommendations for upgrades or replacements as needed. 
  • Communicate effectively with clients to understand their requirements and expectations. 
  • Educate clients on proper pump operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting procedures. 
  • Address customer concerns and provide timely and effective solutions. 
  • Generate detailed reports for clients, outlining the status of pump systems and any recommendations. 
  • Perform technical and electrical related tasks. 
  • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines during all service and installation activities. 


Working Hours: Monday - Friday: 0730hrs - 1530hrs. 

A company car and uniforms will be provided. 

Skill-sets and Requirements

  • Proven experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of pumps.
  • A clean driving Licence.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems, electrical components, and hydraulic principles.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Education & Experience

  • A technical Diploma certification.
  • Electrical license A.
  • Excellent level of written and verbal English.
