Our client is looking for Senior Electrical Technician who will be responsible for independently executing repairs, installations, and maintenance of electrical systems, ensuring operational efficiency, safety, and reliability. The role involves troubleshooting complex systems, liaising with suppliers, supervising junior staff and subcontractors, and providing 24/7 on-call support when required.
Responsibilities:-
Independently repair and maintain electrical and electronic systems
Install, test, and commission electrical and electronic equipment
Ensure all work complies with company policies and regulatory standards
Maintain accurate and up-to-date electrical drawings and project documentation
Mentor and support junior electrical technicians
Coordinate materials, spare parts, and suppliers as required
Modify and troubleshoot PLC and HMI software when necessary
Provide reliable 24/7 on-call technical support
Execute all tasks efficiently, accurately, and within agreed timelines
Requirements
Strong troubleshooting skills for PLCs, HMIs, electrical power, and control systems
Ability to program PLCs and willingness to learn different PLC brands
Experience with modification of third-party PLC and HMI software
Experience using ECAD is preferred
Experience with vision, motion control systems would be an asset.
