Project Manager (Finishings)

A local project management Company operating within the construction industry is searching for a Project Manager to join their team. The chosen candidate will be responsible for the following: 

• Oversee day-to-day management of construction projects with a focus on finishing works (e.g., tiling, plastering, painting, carpentry, and installations).
• Coordinate and collaborate with internal project managers and site supervisors to ensure smooth workflow and resource allocation.
• Plan project timelines, set milestones, and monitor progress to ensure on-time delivery and within budget
• Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure project specifications and quality standards are met.
• Review and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and schedules related to finishing works.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor work quality, resolve issues, and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Oversee procurement and timely delivery of materials related to finishing works.
• Maintain thorough documentation, including site reports, progress updates, change orders, and project handovers.
• Identify risks, delays, or quality concerns early and propose solutions in coordination with the project team.
• Support tendering and pricing processes when required.
• Ensure effective communication between site teams, office personnel, and clients throughout all project phases.

Requirements

• Candidates must already be working in Malta
• Excellent command in English; Maltese highly preferred
• Ability to manage various projects at one go
• Reliable and self-disciplined

Education and Experience

• Minimum MQF level 6 in project management or construction management related subject
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in Project Management in big/complex projects
• Local experience will definitely be an asset especially with government and EU funded projects
• Prior leadership experience will be a plus
