A well established food manufactruing company are looking for a full-time Maintenance Technician mainly focusing on the daily running of the production plant.
Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, key duties and responsibilities include:
Responsible to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes.
Responsible for the mechanical and electrical infrastructure of the manufacturing equipment, as well as refrigeration plant systems.
Conduct the necessary preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment as periodically scheduled.
Ensure that routine maintenance and repairs are carried out in a timely manner whilst undertaking technical improvements projects and assisting in new installations.
Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production.
Requirements:
A Higher Technician Diploma or 3 years of experience in a similar post preferably within the food industry.
Able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to frequent changes that occur on the production line.
Be computer literate and fluent in both written and verbal English, Maltese preferred.
Be resourceful and maintain a strong ambition to succeed.
Have strong leadership, communication and organizational skills.
Be able to work on won initiative with minimum supervision.
Having a clean driving license would be considered an asset
