A well established food manufactruing company are looking for a full-time Maintenance Technician mainly focusing on the daily running of the production plant.
Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, key duties and responsibilities include:
- Responsible to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes.
- Responsible for the mechanical and electrical infrastructure of the manufacturing equipment, as well as refrigeration plant systems.
- Conduct the necessary preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment as periodically scheduled.
- Ensure that routine maintenance and repairs are carried out in a timely manner whilst undertaking technical improvements projects and assisting in new installations.
- Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production.
Requirements:
- A Higher Technician Diploma or 3 years of experience in a similar post preferably within the food industry.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to frequent changes that occur on the production line.
- Be computer literate and fluent in both written and verbal English, Maltese preferred.
- Be resourceful and maintain a strong ambition to succeed.
- Have strong leadership, communication and organizational skills.
- Be able to work on won initiative with minimum supervision.
- Having a clean driving license would be considered an asset
