Our client is seeking a Maintenance Technician who will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation, maintenance, and repair of all facility systems and equipment. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
Perform maintenance, testing, troubleshooting, and repairs on mechanical and electrical systems.
Diagnose faults in line with manufacturer procedures.
Carry out servicing and preventive maintenance to ensure equipment efficiency.
Maintain accurate records and follow maintenance schedules.
Operate and monitor Building Management Systems (BMS) to optimise plant performance.
Conduct daily pump checks and record readings.
Report faults or issues that may cause major breakdowns.
Keep plant rooms clean, organised, and safe at all times.
Respond promptly to maintenance requests.
Maintain and repair RO systems, including pumps, filters, and piping.
Assist with modifications, upgrades, and new installations as required.
Requirements
Excellent written and communication skills.
Knowledge of predictive and preventive maintenance techniques.
Education and Experience
Certification or relevant training in plant operations or maintenance would be considered an asset.
Wireman License A or B would be considered an asset.
