Maintenance Technician (2/3 shift)

One of our clients is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their team. The chosen candidate will be responsible for:

• Conducting routine maintenance and inspections on production equipment including bottling machines and blow-moulding machines to ensure optimal functionality.
• Diagnosing and resolving mechanical, electrical, and technical issues promptly to minimize downtime. 
• Performing preventive maintenance tasks to prevent breakdowns and enhance overall production efficiency. 
• Collaborating with the production team to identify and address maintenance needs
• Utilizing technical expertise to troubleshoot and repair machinery and equipment.
• Always Ensuring compliance with safety standards and company policies.
• Keeping accurate maintenance records and reports

Requirements

• Candidates must already be based in Malta, with the legal right to work in Malta
• Excellent command in English
• Strong communication, technical and leadership skills
• Candidates must be mature, attentive, excellent communicators and problem-solvers
• Candidates must be self-starters, able to work well independently and as part of a team

Education and Experience

• Minimum 3 years’ mechanical experience as a Maintenance Technician within a manufacturing environment is a must
• Strong knowledge in mechanical and electrical systems, and the ability to read technical diagrams and manuals is a must
• Candidates who have experience working with blow-moulding and bottling machines will be given preference
• Candidates who are in possession of electrical licences A and B will be given preference
