Delivery Driver

The Driver reports directly to the Distribution and Cold Store Manager. The Driver will be responsible for affecting sales and distribution services to several clients as indicated by the company. This role is an important point of reference between the company and the clients.

• DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
•  Making sure that the designated vehicle is equipped as necessary.
• Collecting/delivering the product whilst taking all the necessary safety precautions.
• Loading and unloading of all merchandise, which includes heavy lifting of packages.
• Reporting any discrepancies or damages of goods to the appropriate Manager.
• Accepting returns from customers, completing the necessary documentation and return to
• warehouse.
• Observing speed limits and obeying all road signs.
• Keeping driving records (i.e., mileage and gas receipts).
• Contacting clients to take orders and increase sales.
• Informing customers about product availability and product prices.
• Delivering invoices with orders and collecting payments.

Requirements

• Currently based in Malta
• Possess a customer-centric approach coupled with an outgoing and friendly personality 
• Good communication skills in both Maltese and English.
• Able to walk, drive, lift and carry heavy items for extended periods.

Education and Experience

• Must be in possession of License B
• A good level of spoken and written Maltese and English.
• Previous experience in a similar position is a must
