Construction Laboratory Technician

One of our clients within the construction industry are looking for someone who will join their team.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Conduct laboratory examinations on construction materials such as concrete, cement, asphalt, aggregates, and steel.
• Collect, evaluate, and summarize test data following relevant technical guidelines.
• Assist in the upkeep, calibration, and proper functioning of lab instruments.
• Contribute to research and innovation efforts focused on material strength and longevity.
• Compile and present detailed reports and documentation of laboratory findings.
• Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and project teams to deliver accurate material data for informed decisions.

Requirements

• Analytical and problem-solving abilities
• High attention to detail
• Capable of adhering to technical procedures and maintaining strict safety standards
• Computer literate
• Drivers License B

Education and Experience

• Construction Engineering (Level 4) or equivalent
