Carpenter Assistant

  Central Malta

Duties Include but are not limited to: 

  • Assist carpenters in the cutting, assembling, and finishing of furniture pieces;
  • Handle basic hand tools and power tools safely and effectively;
  • Prepare, sand, and clean materials for assembly or finishing;
  • Support in loading, unloading, and transporting materials to job sites;
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workshop and tools;
  • Follow safety guidelines and instructions at all times;
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support carpentry projects.

Requirements

  • Excellent English communication skills. Maltese is considered an asset.
  • Eager to learn and work in a fast paced environment;
  • Currently residing in Malta;
  • Capable of starting work in early morning shifts as required

Education and Experience

  • Carpentry qualifications are considered as an asset
  • Candidates with previous experience in a similar role is given preference
