Our client an international company working in the manufacturing industry, has opened a new role for an IT Security specialist to join their team in Malta.
This role will be split between security and infrastructure duties. The company is considered to be ISO Certified
What you will be doing:
Support and help coordinate certification and recertification processes across European sites (IE, UK, MT, FR, ES, and IT).
Conduct risk analysis by researching, gathering, and evaluating relevant data, and support remediation efforts.
Prepare reports and executive summaries on security metrics, risk assessments, and third-party evaluations.
Participate in audit processes and assess the effectiveness of security controls.
Contribute to the organisation’s security architecture.
Maintain hardware and software inventories.
When necessary, troubleshoot and resolve basic hardware and software issues (Windows, Mac, printers, applications, etc.).
Requirements
3-5 years of experience in infrastructure
Familiarity with Information Security Management Systems, control frameworks (ISO27001, ISO14001, ISO9001, ISO14298, NIST CSF, EAL) and related risk assessment methodologies
General knowledge of enterprise network and systems architecture concepts and technologies
Must be living or working in the European union for the last 5 years
