Network and Security Specialist

Your key responsibilities:

• Spearhead the management and fortification of network infrastructure, demonstrating expertise in the strategic administration of firewalls, routers, and switches.
• Execute comprehensive administration of various VPN technologies, manage device permissions and ensure adaptive network security measures are consistently upheld.
• Conduct proficient change management and troubleshooting activities, including in-depth root cause analysis, to sustain optimal network capacity and functionality.
• Continuously assess and improve network configurations, deciphering vendor communications to identify opportunities for system enhancements and proactively implementing them.
• Prioritize and resolve multiple issues concurrently, upholding operational integrity and ensuring customer satisfaction through swift and effective problem resolution.
• Document procedures and projects meticulously, while actively championing process improvement through certifications and staying abreast of cutting-edge technological updates.
• Lead project information gathering efforts and collaborate closely with stakeholders, ensuring high-quality outcomes and strict adherence to project timelines.
• Cultivate an environment of team collaboration, seamlessly integrating features into system designs with a primary focus on delivering superior service and innovative solutions.

Requirements

• A minimum of two to four years of experience working within a network or security role.
• Experience in managing network infrastructure and successfully handling network configurations.
• Proficiency in firewall configurations and implementing VPN setups in diverse professional settings.
• Understanding of network protocols.
• Have strong familiarity with Active Directory and Azure AD.
• Have a valid driving B licence.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field
• CCNA, CCNP, CISSP certifications are highly valued.
