IT Security Engineer

Our client, one of the leading companies in ICT Services, is looking for a IT Security Engineer to join their team. 

Responsibilities:

• Implement cybersecurity technologies and services for client environments.
• Collaborate with technical engineers and project team members to deliver secure solutions.
• Contribute to tier 2/3 security operations support.
• Participate in an on-call rotation as part of the security operations team.
• Be actively involved in incident response and remediation efforts.

Requirements

• Solid understanding of IP networking, routing, firewalls, and endpoint security.
• Basic knowledge in at least three of the following areas: Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFW), Network Intrusion Detection/Prevention Systems (IDS/IPS), Web Application Firewalls (WAF), Log Management & SIEM, Cloud Security Platforms, SOAR Platforms, Endpoint Security Suites, Scripting and automation skills using PowerShell or Python.
• Ability to perform effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
• Preference will be given to candidates holding entry-level IT security certifications from leading vendors such as Check Point, Cisco, or CyberArk.

Education and Experience

• A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
• 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience in configuring and troubleshooting: VPN technologies, Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS), Content security solutions and Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) systems.
