Our client, an international manufacturing company, is on the look out for an IT Change Manager. This person will be responsible for managing the life cycle and coordination of all IT system changes across the company's customer portfolio.
The purpose of this role is to implement valuable IT changes with minimal disruption to customer systems while supporting Continuous Service Improvement in accordance with the ITIL framework.
You will be involved in -
- Manage and Oversee Processes: Lead the end-to-end IT Change Management, asset management and configuration management process in alignment with the ITIL framework, tailoring approaches based on program maturity and contractual obligations.
- Ensure Governance and Compliance: Maintain and monitor adherence to change management policies, document methodologies, support audits, and ensure all change attributes (e.g., release notes, risk mitigation, testing) are addressed.
- Drive Continuous Improvement: Analyse change performance, report on trends and metrics, and introduce improvements through feedback loops and stakeholder engagement.
- Stakeholder Engagement and Training: Collaborate with internal teams, customers, and third parties; provide training on tools and processes; and manage service management tools and supporting documentation.
Requirements
- 3+ years experience in IT change control, release and deployment with ITIL-based enterprise environments
- Knowhow in managing relationship with third-party suppliers
- ITIL foundation v3 or v4, desirable
- Excellent verbal and written English
- Strong command of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc)
- Must be living or working in EU for the past 5 years
Education and Experience
- Higher level education in software engineering or computer science
