Our client, a leading crypto exchange, is looking for a Cloud Security Engineer to join their high-performing team responsible for shaping and enforcing cloud security architecture across global deployments, focused on regulatory compliance and collaboration.
What you'll be doing
- Act as the main liaison with regulators and auditors to ensure compliance with relevant standards.
- Design and implement secure, scalable cloud security architectures across AWS and AliCloud.
- Conduct threat modelling, risk assessments, and define secure configurations for cloud environments.
- Develop and maintain cloud security frameworks, policies, and controls aligned with industry best practices.
- Collaborate with internal teams on incident response, monitoring, and integrating security into cloud services.
- Stay updated on emerging threats and regulatory changes to continuously enhance cloud security posture.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with local regulators and internal stakeholders to ensure our AWS cloud environment adheres to rigorous security and governance requirements. Reporting to the Regional CISO based in the EU, you will play a key role in shaping the strategic direction of our security programs, with a focus on policy development, risk management, and secure architecture.
Requirements
- 10-15 years relative work experience in a similar role
- Expertise in designing and deploying secure cloud environments on AWS and AliCloud
- Proven track record of working with regulators, auditors, and compliance teams is desirable
- Skilled in collaborating with distributed cloud engineering teams across the APAC region
- Strong grasp of industry security frameworks and standards, including NIST, ISO 27001, CIS Benchmarks, and PCI-DSS
- Proficient with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform and AliCloud ROS
- Experienced in using security monitoring and compliance tools such as SIEM and CSPM platforms
- Effective communicator with the ability to clearly articulate security risks, requirements, and technical guidance
- Practical experience with AliCloud security tools such as Resource Access Management (RAM), ActionTrail, and Security Center
Education and Experience
- Bachelor in Computer Science, Information Security or equivalent
