Our client, a well established organisation operating in retail industry, is looking for a Store Manager to join their Gozo outlet. Your main responsibilities are to:
- Oversee daily operations to ensure efficiency, profitability, and compliance with company standards.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and handle customer issues promptly and professionally.
- Manage stock levels, purchasing, and merchandising programs to optimize sales and minimize losses.
- Lead, motivate, and develop the store team through effective communication, performance management, and training.
- Prepare and analyze operational and financial reports to support informed decision-making.
- Ensure all health, safety, and food hygiene standards are met and maintained.
- Monitor competitor activity and market trends to identify improvement and growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with other departments to support business initiatives and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Sound understanding of budgeting, stock control, and customer service.
- Knowledge of HACCP, health and safety, and food hygiene standards.
- Professional level of English is required, Maltese is preferred.
Education and Experience
- Proven experience in retail or foodstore management (minimum 3–5 years).
