Store Manager (Gozo)

Our client, a well established organisation operating in retail industry, is looking for a Store Manager to join their Gozo outlet. Your main responsibilities are to:

  • Oversee daily operations to ensure efficiency, profitability, and compliance with company standards.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and handle customer issues promptly and professionally.
  • Manage stock levels, purchasing, and merchandising programs to optimize sales and minimize losses.
  • Lead, motivate, and develop the store team through effective communication, performance management, and training.
  • Prepare and analyze operational and financial reports to support informed decision-making.
  • Ensure all health, safety, and food hygiene standards are met and maintained.
  • Monitor competitor activity and market trends to identify improvement and growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate with other departments to support business initiatives and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Sound understanding of budgeting, stock control, and customer service.
  • Knowledge of HACCP, health and safety, and food hygiene standards.
  • Professional level of English is required, Maltese is preferred.

Education and Experience

  • Proven experience in retail or foodstore management (minimum 3–5 years).
