Shop Manager (Retail)

  Central Malta  |  €25,000 - €28,000 Annually 

An established client of ours operating within the Retail industry, is searching for Shop Managers to join the franchise at two of their biggest stores. As a Shop Manager, you will be responsible for:  

  • Oversee stock control, merchandising, and shop presentation.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and franchise management for inventory, product updates, and promotional activities.
  • Support the team with operational challenges when needed.
  • Lead, motivate, and support the in-store team.
  • Manage staff scheduling
  • Deliver training on customer service, product knowledge, and operational procedures.
  • Ensure the shop delivers exceptional customer service.
  • Handle escalated customer queries or issues professionally.
  • Support customer engagement and loyalty-building initiatives.
  • Monitor sales performance, KPIs, and daily targets.
  • Implement sales strategies and merchandising plans to maximise revenue.
  • Analyse sales and stock levels to inform ordering and promotional decisions.

Requirements

  • Candidates must be based in Malta, with the legal right of working in Malta
  • Candidates must be able to work on roster basis from Monday to Saturday, including Sundays and Public Holidays on over-time during peak season
  • Excellent command in English and Maltese
  • Candidates must be responsible, mature, independent and eager to advance

Education and Experience

  • A Level Standard of Education
  • Prior experience within the retail industry is a must
