Senior Business Development Manager

Our client is looking for a Senior Business Development Manager to join their growing team. Reporting to the COO the chosen candidate will:

  • Continuously monitor market trends and customer signals to refine offerings and identify new revenue streams. 
  • Proactively generate leads through events, strategic partnerships, referrals, and targeted outbound initiatives.
  • Drive regional sales growth by developing account plans, meeting quarterly sales targets, and formulating winning strategies across key verticals such as finance, healthcare, and retail.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of pipeline opportunities and client interactions in the CRM system to ensure sales visibility and reliable forecasting.
  • Establish a strong presence in Malta through active networking, participation in industry events, and the cultivation of deep relationships with strategic customers, resellers, and technology partners.
  • Shape and execute technical strategies that align with business goals, leveraging leading cybersecurity tools and frameworks, including endpoint and email security, threat intelligence, SIEM, firewalls, zero trust architectures, and cloud security platforms.
  • Engage directly with clients to understand their specific challenges and craft tailored solutions that address real-world problems. 
  • Identify high-impact use cases that maximize client ROI.
  • Build and refine proof-of-concept models to showcase the value of cybersecurity innovations. 
  • Translate complex technical concepts into clear, compelling narratives suitable for both technical and non-technical audiences. 
  • Lead workshops and technical demonstrations with confidence and clarity.

Education and Experience

  • Experience in architecting and deploying cybersecurity solutions in corporate environments.
  • Demonstrates a strong track record of aligning technical capabilities to real-world business challenges across various industries.
  • Proven ability to co-ordinate cross-functional teams through the full lifecycle of solution development—from concept to implementation
  • Minimum MQF Level 6 in IT-related certifications
