Our client within the FMCG Industry is looking for a Sales Team Leader to join its growing team.
The selected candidate will report directly to the Head of Sales (HoS) and collaborate closely with management to implement sales strategies and business plans. This role is responsible for leading, mentoring, and supporting the sales team in the field to achieve company targets and drive performance.
The position also involves close coordination with the Marketing Department to support lead generation and ensure alignment between sales initiatives and marketing campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership: Lead, supervise, and motivate the sales team to achieve and exceed targets
Coaching & Development: Provide ongoing training, coaching, and onboarding to enhance team performance and capabilities
Operations: Monitor stock levels, ensure product availability, and optimise in-store presence and shelf space
Sales Strategy: Develop and execute effective sales plans to drive revenue growth and increase market share
Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, and key stakeholders
Requirements
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in FMCG sales and/or team leadership
Maltese speaking is a must.
Proven experience in customer relationship management
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills
Strong leadership abilities with a hands-on approach
Customer-focused with a commitment to high service standards
