Sales Representative

  South of Malta

Our client, in the food and beverage industry, is seeking a driven and experienced Sales Representative to join their team and help grow their customer base across supermarkets, mini-markets, convenience stores, and other retail outlets. The key responsibilities are :

  • Promote and sell a wide range of food and beverage products to retail clients.
  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with supermarkets and retail outlets.
  • Identify new sales opportunities and work actively to expand the customer base.
  • Ensure proper product placement, visibility, and availability on shelves.
  • Consistently meet and exceed monthly sales targets and performance KPIs.
  • Monitor competitor activity and market trends to identify new opportunities.
  • Submit timely daily sales reports and updates to the Sales Manager.
  • Coordinate with the logistics team to ensure accurate and timely deliveries.
  • Represent the company professionally in all client interactions.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in sales, preferably within the food and beverage or FMCG industry
  • Strong knowledge of the retail food market and its dynamics.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-driven with a results-oriented mindset.
  • Valid driver’s license – use of company car is provided
  • Fluency in English is a must and Maltese will be considered an asset
