Our client, in the food and beverage industry, is seeking a driven and experienced Sales Representative to join their team and help grow their customer base across supermarkets, mini-markets, convenience stores, and other retail outlets. The key responsibilities are :
- Promote and sell a wide range of food and beverage products to retail clients.
- Develop and maintain long-term relationships with supermarkets and retail outlets.
- Identify new sales opportunities and work actively to expand the customer base.
- Ensure proper product placement, visibility, and availability on shelves.
- Consistently meet and exceed monthly sales targets and performance KPIs.
- Monitor competitor activity and market trends to identify new opportunities.
- Submit timely daily sales reports and updates to the Sales Manager.
- Coordinate with the logistics team to ensure accurate and timely deliveries.
- Represent the company professionally in all client interactions.
Requirements
- Proven experience in sales, preferably within the food and beverage or FMCG industry
- Strong knowledge of the retail food market and its dynamics.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-driven with a results-oriented mindset.
- Valid driver’s license – use of company car is provided
- Fluency in English is a must and Maltese will be considered an asset
