Sales & Marketing Manager

  Central Malta  |  Starting from €50,000 Annually 

Our client, a leading retail company, is looking to recruit a Sales & Marketing Manager to join their growing team. Reporting to the CEO, the chosen candidate will:

  • Lead, coach, and motivate the showroom sales team to consistently meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Deliver ongoing training and development to enhance product knowledge, customer engagement, and conversion skills.
  • Foster a high-performance, customer-centric culture focused on accountability and excellence.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance metrics, providing actionable insights to optimize individual and team performance.
  • Implement and oversee sales initiatives to increase footfall, improve conversion rates, and attract high-value clients.
  • Identify opportunities to improve sales processes and drive continuous growth.
  • Ensure the showroom delivers a premium, brand-aligned in-store experience at all times.
  • Maintain high standards of visual merchandising and overall presentation in line with brand identity.
  • Analyze industry trends, customer preferences, and market demands to inform product selection and promotional strategies.
  • Provide feedback to internal stakeholders to refine offerings and stay competitive.
  • Proactively identify and develop B2B opportunities with developers, architects, interior designers, and corporate clients.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for commercial clients—understanding their needs, proposing tailored solutions, and managing negotiations.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships to drive repeat business and referrals.
  • Work closely with project management and operations teams to ensure seamless execution post-sale.
  • Support the end-to-end sales cycle, ensuring client satisfaction from initial engagement through to delivery.

WORKING HOURS:

MONDAY - SATURDAY (flexibility on a shift basis)

Requirements

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a consultative approach.
  • Excellent leadership and coaching abilities to inspire team performance.
  • Commercially savvy, confident negotiator, and goal-oriented.

Education and Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in sales leadership, ideally within furniture, interiors, or lifestyle retail.
  • Proven success in managing client relationships and closing B2B or commercial deals.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Must be proficient in both Maltese and English
