Our client, one of Malta's leading food importers and distributors, currently investing in significant growth and scaling up their operations, is seeking an ambitious and energetic Sales Manager to manage their Retail Clients.
In this role, you’ll lead a team of sales representatives, strengthen key customer relationships, and drive the performance of our chilled portfolio across Malta’s retail market. It’s a hands-on commercial role that blends leadership, strategy, and day-to-day engagement with top retail partners.
What You’ll Do
Drive sales growth, profitability, and brand visibility across the chilled portfolio.
Lead, motivate, and coach a team of sales representatives to meet and exceed targets.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and retail partners.
Analyse sales data to identify opportunities and implement strategic growth plans.
Work closely with Marketing, Procurement, Credit Control, and Distribution to ensure smooth operations and exceptional customer service.
What You Bring
A self-starter mindset with strong commercial instincts and a drive to push boundaries.
Experience in FMCG sales or account management in retail
Excellent communication, presentation, and team-motivating skills.
Strong analytical ability and confidence working with sales data.
Proven leadership and team development capabilities.
A relevant university degree is considered an asset.
