Our client is seeking a commercially driven and proactive Sales Executive to join their dynamic Ship Supply Team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about driving sales growth, building lasting client relationships, and delivering exceptional service within the maritime industry.
The Key Responsibilities are :
- Actively promote and sell the company’s full range of ship supplies, goods, and services to existing and prospective clients.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Market and represent the company’s ship supply services to generate new business opportunities both immediately and in the long term.
- Conduct vessel visits to establish direct contact with clients and strengthen relationships.
- Provide regular feedback and sales reports to management, highlighting opportunities for improvement and growth.
- Ensure all customer enquiries and orders are handled promptly, professionally, and efficiently to maximize client satisfaction and business potential.
- Support the wider sales team in identifying opportunities to increase sales and enhance client service.
- Contribute to cost control and the efficient use of company resources.
- Collaborate with colleagues across departments to ensure smooth, effective operations and a consistent client experience.
- Maintain accurate, clear, and timely records of all sales activities and client interactions.
- Perform other related tasks as required in support of the company’s commercial objectives.
Requirements
- Fluent in both English and Maltese (spoken and written).
- Commercially minded, with a strong focus on achieving targets and driving growth.
- Organized and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Team-oriented, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Prior experience in the marine or ship supply industry is considered a strong asset.
- Able to engage confidently with clients and stakeholders at all levels.
- Working Hours: Mon to Fri: 9am to 5pm; 1x Sat every 3 weeks on roster basis
- Must be IT literate
