Our client, a leader in the logistics industry, is seeking a proactive and results-driven Sales & Business Development Executive to drive growth for their courier and logistics services. The ideal candidate will identify new business opportunities, build long-term client relationships, and promote our delivery solutions to businesses across various industries. This role requires strong communication skills, commercial awareness, and the ability to understand customer logistics needs.
Responsibilities
- Identify, research, and pursue new business opportunities across B2B sectors
- Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline through prospecting, cold calling, networking, and industry outreach
- Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and quotations tailored to client requirements
- Develop long-term relationships with existing clients to ensure retention and upselling opportunities
- Conduct regular follow-ups to understand client needs, delivery challenges, and service expectations
- Serve as the main point of contact for key accounts, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction
- Negotiate contracts, pricing structures, and service agreements in line with company guidelines
- Collaborate with operations teams to ensure service commitments are achievable and aligned with customer expectations
- Track sales activities, report progress, and meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
Requirements
- Previous experience in sales or business development in the courier industry is a must
- Strong understanding of delivery services, supply chain processes, or B2B service models
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and achieve sales targets
- Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent level of English in both verbal and written
