Pharmacy Assistant (Evening)

  South of Malta  |  €25,000 - €30,000 Annually 

Our client is looking for a dependable and detail-focused Pharmacy Assistant to support the smooth day-to-day operations of their pharmacy. This role plays an important part in maintaining accurate pricing, effective stock control, and assisting the pharmacist to deliver efficient, high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Accurately label and price products, ensuring all pricing systems are consistently updated.
  • Maintain clearly labelled, well-organised shelves in compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Support inventory management, including ordering, receiving, and verifying deliveries.
  • Monitor stock levels, check expiry dates, and rotate inventory as required.
  • Assist with dispensing activities under the supervision of the pharmacist.
  • Prepare prescriptions for final review and verification.
  • Ensure the pharmacy remains clean, organised, and professional at all times.
  • Provide courteous and knowledgeable assistance to customers.
  • Process point-of-sale transactions as needed.

Working hours: Evening shifts 14:00-21:00 

Requirements

  • Candidates must be based in Malta, with the legal right of working in Malta
  • Fluency in English is a must; Maltese desired
  • Customer-oriented, organized, diligent and adaptable
  • Able to work evening shifts
  • Proficiency in MS tools and general computer literacy

Education and Experience

  • A Level standard of education as a minimum
  • Prior experience in a similar role or in retail is a must
