Pharma Sales Manager

  Central Malta  |  €43,000 - €45,000 Annually 

Our client, specialising in the distribution of pharmaceuticals and medical products, representing a broad portfolio of international brands and is recognised for its reliability, regulatory compliance, and efficient supply chain management is looking for a Pharma Sales Manager

The Main Responsibilities include: 

  • Keep all records, documents, and correspondence well-organised and easily accessible, including via electronic databases.
  • Plan and optimise sales routes and visit schedules with Stores to boost efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Allocate customers and product portfolios strategically, based on geography, supplier requirements, and team strengths.
  • Monitor sales performance through market visits and database insights, delivering clear, regular reports.
  • Partner with Business Managers to design and deliver impactful promotional campaigns.
  • Lead regular sales meetings, review the Pharmacy Database, and prepare annual team performance reports with HR.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, securing support for initiatives and gathering valuable market feedback.
  • Guide, support, and develop the team members under your supervision.

Working Hours:

8:00-16:30 or 8:30-17:00

Requirements

  • Fluent in Maltese and English, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Computer literate and highly organised.
  • Sets ambitious yet realistic goals and supports team members in exceeding them.
  • MUST be an expert in sales techniques and closing strategies.
  • Skilled in producing clear, insightful sales reports and identifying trends.
  • Confident in constructively challenging the status quo to improve processes and outcomes.

Education and Experience

  • Proven Pharma Background
  • A-Level standard or equivalent as a minimum requirement.
  • Tertiary-level qualification, preferably in Marketing or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in sales.
