Outdoor Sales Representative

  Central Malta  |  €20,000 - €25,000 Annually 

Our client is looking for an Outdoor Sales Representative to join their growing team. This role is primarily field-based visiting clients, project sites, contractors and business partners across Malta.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and growing client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, following up on quotations and coordinating closely with the warehouse and operations teams to ensure smooth order fulfilment and excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Visit clients, contractors, developers and project sites regularly across Malta
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers
  • Promote the company's range of plumbing, irrigation, drainage, fire-fighting and water system products
  • Prepare and follow up quotations, orders and customer enquiries
  • Coordinate closely with the warehouse team regarding stock availability, deliveries and order preparation
  • Liaise with suppliers and internal teams to ensure timely fulfilment of customer requirements
  • Provide technical product guidance and recommend suitable solutions to clients
  • Ensure accurate reporting of visits, sales activities and customer feedback
  • Support the company in achieving sales targets and business growth objectives

The remuneration package for this role will consist of a gross basic salary enlisted in this advert, as well as a staggered commission structure to complement the achievement of agreed sales targets and KPIs.

Requirements

  • Candidates must be based in Malta already
  • Fluency in English is a must, Maltese language skills are preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Comfortable working outdoors and travelling across Malta daily
  • Valid local driving licence
  • Basic computer literacy (email, quotations, Excel/ERP systems)

Education and Experience

  • Previous local experience in a sales or client-facing role is a must
  • Experience in sales within the construction, plumbing, irrigation, pumps, building services or related sectors is highly desired
