Our client is a vocational education academy that provides training and development opportunities for individuals and organisations. They are now seeking to engage an Academy Operations & Business Development Manager to report into the Head of School. This is a new role.
The Role
You will drive student recruitment and developing new business opportunities to support the academy’s growth.
You will manage corporate relationships and build partnerships with businesses and industry stakeholders.
Responsibilities include promoting academy programmes, generating leads, and converting enquiries into enrolments.
You will oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring smooth delivery of all courses and programmes.
You will coordinate schedules, tutors, classrooms, and logistics required for course delivery.
The role also includes contributing to the academy’s strategic growth by identifying new training opportunities and market needs.
You will engage with industry partners to align programmes with workforce demands and employability outcomes.
You will support quality assurance processes and ensure compliance with MFHEA requirements and accreditation standards.
You will do regular reporting to the Head of Academy and Board on performance, opportunities, and operational matters.
This is a hybrid role Operations and Business Development - Apart from the gross salary there will also be a good commission structure
Requirements
You must be motivated, proactive, and highly organised
Have experience in sales, business development, operations management, or education/training environments
Have strong business development and relationship-building skills
Possess excellent communication and organisational skills
Be fluent in English (Maltese will be considered an asset)
Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and work independently
A strong interest in business, entrepreneurship, and growth-oriented environments
Have strong operational experience with great attention to detail
Experience in vocational education, training services, or MFHEA-regulated environments will be considered an asset
