Our Client is looking for a Merchandiser who will be reporting to the Lead Merchandiser, the Merchandiser is responsible for increasing product placement, brand awareness and implementing promotions in supermarkets and retail shops.
Responsibilities
Perform daily checks including, but not limited to, the fridge’s temperature, the product
display, and ensure the products are displayed correctly.
Develop and maintain a structured procedure for checking product dates and ensuring proper
rotation is carried out.
Inform, monitor and promote any new products launched by MDP to outlets in the respective
regions, and confirm that the outlet has placed the orders through its respective distributor.
Act as a brand ambassador and answer any queries related to the MDP products.
Serve as the point of contact with outlets by providing customer service and demonstrating
how to use any ordering systems.
Check the availability of products on the market and provide daily reports on any findings.
Participate during events and activities to sell and promote MDP products as needed.
Promote and offer product samples in outlets when required.
Requirements
Familiarity with planograms and product display standards.
Outgoing, detail-oriented, with strong organizational skills.
Valid driving license and use of own car.
Physically fit, with the ability to lift and move heavy objects.
Education and Experience
Basic knowledge of MS Office (Excel for reporting, Word for documentation)
