Our Client is looking for a Merchandiser who will be reporting to the Lead Merchandiser, the Merchandiser is responsible for increasing product placement, brand awareness and implementing promotions in supermarkets and retail shops.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily checks including, but not limited to, the fridge’s temperature, the product
- display, and ensure the products are displayed correctly.
- Develop and maintain a structured procedure for checking product dates and ensuring proper
- rotation is carried out.
- Inform, monitor and promote any new products launched by MDP to outlets in the respective
- regions, and confirm that the outlet has placed the orders through its respective distributor.
- Act as a brand ambassador and answer any queries related to the MDP products.
- Serve as the point of contact with outlets by providing customer service and demonstrating
- how to use any ordering systems.
- Check the availability of products on the market and provide daily reports on any findings.
- Participate during events and activities to sell and promote MDP products as needed.
- Promote and offer product samples in outlets when required.
Requirements
- Familiarity with planograms and product display standards.
- Outgoing, detail-oriented, with strong organizational skills.
- Valid driving license and use of own car.
- Physically fit, with the ability to lift and move heavy objects.
Education and Experience
- Basic knowledge of MS Office (Excel for reporting, Word for documentation)
