Logistics Operations & Business Development Lead

Our client is seeking a dynamic and results-driven professional to lead logistics operations while driving business growth. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in both logistics and sales, with the ability to optimize processes and develop new client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee incoming orders through the company’s logistics app, ensuring accurate processing
  • Monitor the full order lifecycle from placement to final delivery across Malta
  • Coordinate with drivers, warehouse teams, and partners to ensure timely and efficient deliveries
  • Resolve any issues related to orders, delays, or delivery discrepancies
  • Maintain high service standards and customer satisfaction
  • Develop and grow a local client portfolio within the Maltese market
  • Identify new business opportunities and actively approach potential clients
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers
  • Collaborate with internal teams to improve operational processes and service delivery

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in logistics and sales/business development (essential)
  • Strong understanding of supply chain and logistics operations
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet targets
  • Proficiency in English, Maltese and Italian are a must
  • Valid driving licence
