Key Account Executive

  Central Malta  |  up to €30,000 Annually 

Our Client, one of the leading companies in Malta, would like to engage a Key Account Executive. Reporting to the Key Account Manager, the role is pivotal in nurturing and expanding relationships with the key accounts, tasked with meeting sales targets, pinpointing growth prospects, and ensuring customer contentment. 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with key accounts.
  • Gain an in-depth understanding of clients' requirements and business goals.
  • Collaborate closely with the Key Accounts Manager to devise and execute account strategies.
  • Exceed sales targets for designated key accounts.
  • Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional products or services.
  • Work with the sales team to meet departmental KPIs.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Offer insights and suggestions to enhance product offerings and customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor sales performance against targets and provide regular reports to management.
  • Support the Key Account manager in generating accurate sales forecasts and contributing to budget planning.
  • Address and resolve key account issues promptly.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, including logistics and customer service, to ensure smooth operations.
  • Maintain effective communication with key stakeholders both internally and externally.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to develop promotional materials and campaigns.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by proactively addressing customer needs.

Working Hours: Monday - Friday: 0800hrs - 1700hrs

Requirements

  • Experience in FMCG in a similar role would be considered an asset
  • Have a proactive, strategic, and customer-centric approach.
  • Excellent level of written and verbal Maltese and English.
  • Strong understanding of sales and marketing principles.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Results-oriented with a focus on customer satisfaction.
