As a Insurance Team Leader, you’ll report to the Head of Direct Sales and play a key role in shaping your team’s success. You’ll foster collaboration, build strong relationships with clients and colleagues alike, and ensure that all activities align with the company’s values, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, motivate, and coach your sales team to consistently achieve individual and team sales targets.
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive sales performance and expand market reach.
  • Monitor sales activity, KPIs, and customer satisfaction levels, ensuring targets are met.
  • Provide guidance and ongoing training to enhance team members’ skills and product knowledge.
  • Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Identify opportunities for process optimisation to improve efficiency and customer experience.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring a high level of customer retention and satisfaction.
  • Handle escalations or client concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth sales operations and compliance with policies.
  • Prepare and present sales reports and performance updates to senior management.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in sales, with at least 1–2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving team performance.
  • Experience in the insurance, financial services, or commercial sector will be considered an asset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and familiarity with CRM systems.
  • Strong command of English and Maltese, both written and verbal.
  • A proactive and adaptable mindset, capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment.
