Client Services Director

  Central Malta  |  €60,000 - €65,000 Annually 

A reputable client of ours specialising in Corporate Services is currently looking to onboard a Client Services Director & MFSA Approved Responsible Person to join their team:

Duties:

  • Be responsible for all day-to-day operations of the Malta office
  • Maximise new business development opportunities and initiatives
  • Development and implementation of strategic marketing plans and forecasts to expand the company’s customer base, including market research evaluation and competitor analysis
  • Establish and maintain relationships with industry contacts and key strategic partners
  • Liaise with Group or external tax advisors to issue terms of engagement and tax advice
  • Meet with clients to determine their asset ownership and tax requirements and where applicable, identify any Group cross-selling opportunities
  • Represent the department at relevant conferences, boat/yacht shows and networking events, both local and overseas
  • Liaise frequently with Transport Malta, the Malta VAT Department, the Malta Business Registry and the MFSA
  • Maintain the statutory records of the company, prepare minutes and arrange any necessary submissions to comply with Maltese statutory and legal filing requirements
  • Develop, build, and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships, maintaining excellent service standards in conjunction with Group guidelines and customer satisfaction targets
  • Keep CRM or equivalent database up to date with comprehensive follow-up/visit programmes
  • Liaise with Group accountants to produce invoices and debt collection
  • Administer all applicable superyacht ownership structures
  • Assist with the preparation of fee invoices and VAT returns, as well as the purchase and sale of yachts. This includes liaising with brokers, lawyers and other industry professionals and the registration of these vessels

Requirements

  • Must have 5+ years’ experience in the superyacht industry
  • Knowledge of marketing techniques and financial/commercial principles
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, as well as budget and report writing skills
  • Demonstrate experience in developing client focused, differentiated and achievable solutions
  • Have knowledge and experience of local and international corporate structures and administration
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience of business development consistently meeting or exceeding targets with a proven track record of driving a sales process from plan to closure

Education and Experience

  • Hold an industry recognised professional qualification
  • MUST Be eligible to be PQd by the MFSA as Director
