Our client, a local Tech importer and distributor, is looking for a Cybersecurity Solutions Consultant to join their growing team. Reporting to the Head of Commercial, this person will be responsible to:
- Proactively identify, develop, and pursue new business opportunities using outbound prospecting, networking, and strategic targeted outreach.
- Own and manage the full sales cycle, from initial contact and qualification through solution presentation, proposal delivery, negotiation, and closing.
- Deliver engaging and persuasive solution demonstrations both in-person and virtually, customizing presentations to address each client’s distinct business and technical needs.
- Serve as a trusted, client-facing representative of leading cybersecurity solutions, maintaining strong professionalism, credibility, and consultative sales integrity.
- Partner with internal technical teams and external vendors to design proposals that reflect client objectives while aligning with technical scope, feasibility, and deliverables.
- Lead contract renewals and drive strong customer retention by ensuring ongoing engagement, value realization, and satisfaction.
- Act as a product advisor, keeping clients informed on new releases, enhancements, upgrades, and emerging technologies relevant to their evolving requirements.
- Identify and pursue upsell and cross-sell opportunities across the existing customer base to drive additional revenue growth.
- Collaborate with marketing to synchronize outreach initiatives, product messaging, and campaign strategy with market trends, positioning, and competitive insights.
Requirements
- Strong lead-generation and closing skills;
- Commitment in providing excellent customer service and managing existing accounts professionally;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Maltese;
- Customer oriented with good interpersonal skills;
- Target and detail orientation with a strong drive to achieve work success;
- The ability to work on his/her own initiative and as part of a team;
Education and Experience
- Proven experience with CRM
- Good knowledge of the company’s products and in-depth view of upcoming technologies
- Familiarity and experience in Cyber-security will be considered an asset
- Proven experience in subscription-based revenue sales, hunting and cold-calling
- Must hold 3 years of local B2B sales experience in the field
