Our client forms part of a large, well renowned group of companies and is seeking an experienced Chief Commercial Officer(CCO) to lead its commercial strategy and drive revenue growth. You will shape go-to-market strategy and scale revenues internationally.
The Role
Based in Malta and reporting to the Managing Director, the CCO will oversee business development and overall revenue performance.
The position focuses on translating strategic objectives into effective commercial plans that deliver sustainable growth and long-term merchant value.
The CCO will lead sales, pricing, and partner strategies across key markets using data-driven insights, forecasts, and KPIs.
You will directly manage commercial and marketing teams, focusing on performance management, talent development, and sales process optimisation.
Close collaboration with product, technology, operations, and finance teams is essential to ensure scalable, compliant, and risk-aligned initiatives.
The role also involves maintaining strong relationships with merchants, acquiring banks, and payment partners.
You will need to travel abroad on fairs and to meet clients if/when necessary.
A very good commission structure is in place in addition to the indicated salary.
Requirements
Candidates must have at least five years’ experience in payments, fintech, or a related technology sector with a strong revenue growth track record.
Strong commercial judgment, pricing and partnership expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to communicate complex solutions are required.
