Business Development Manager (Fintech)

  Central Malta  |  Up to €55,000 Annually 

Our client, operating in the Fintech industry is looking for an experienced Business Development Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the fintech ecosystem (B2B/B2C/B2B2C as applicable).
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with financial institutions, partners, and key clients.
  • Develop and execute BD strategies aligned with company goals.
  • Collaborate with product, marketing, and tech teams to tailor offerings for specific markets or clients.
  • Own the sales cycle: lead generation, proposal, negotiation, and closing deals.
  • Attend industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to promote the company.
  • Track market trends, competitor movements, and regulatory changes to inform business strategy.
  • Prepare regular reports and forecasts for leadership on business performance.

Working Hours: Monday - Friday

Requirements

  • Previous experience in business development in fintech, banking, or financial services is a must.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales and partnership targets.
  • Strong understanding of fintech domains.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and drive initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Network within the fintech or broader financial ecosystem is a significant advantage.
  • Hold an excellent level of verbal and written English, fluency in Italian and Spanish will be given preference.
