We are seeking a results-driven Business Development Executive to play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth and expanding our market presence in the ICT sector.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and closing deals that align with the company’s strategic objectives. This is a client-facing role that requires strong commercial acumen, a proactive mindset, and the ability to deliver consistent sales results in a competitive market.
Responsibilities:
Revenue Generation & Sales Ownership:
- Take full ownership of the end-to-end sales cycle, from prospecting and lead generation to deal closure.
- Consistently achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Build, manage, and maintain a healthy sales pipeline to support long-term revenue growth.
- Develop customized ICT solutions that address client requirements and deliver business value.
Market Development & Client Acquisition:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities across targeted industries and verticals.
- Research, map, and penetrate new markets to expand the company’s customer base.
- Leverage vendor partnerships, networking events, and industry forums to generate leads.
- Conduct competitive analysis to position company offerings effectively.
- Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and vendor events to promote services and solutions.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build long-term relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
- Develop account strategies that foster client loyalty and repeat business.
- Provide professional presentations and product demonstrations to potential clients.
- Act as a trusted advisor by staying informed on industry trends and emerging technologies.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to secure profitable deals.
Strategic Contribution:
- Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement sales strategies aligned with company objectives.
- Provide market insights and client feedback to influence product and service development.
- Contribute to revenue forecasting and budgeting processes.
- Track, analyse, and report on sales performance metrics to ensure consistent growth.
Requirements:
- Proven track record in business development, sales, or account management within the ICT/technology sector.
- 6+ years of experience in a revenue-generating role.
- Established network of industry contacts and with decision-makers.
- Strong knowledge of ICT products, solutions, and industry trends.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and close high-value deals.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems.
- Commercially driven, target-oriented, and motivated by achieving measurable results.
- A valid Maltese/EU driving license
The remuneration package include a gross salary and commission
