Assistant Sales Manager (Hospitality)

  North of Malta  |  up to €26,500 Annually 

Our client, operating in the Hospitality Sector, are looking for a proactive, detail-oriented, and customer-focused individual to drive group and event sales while supporting hotel operations. The role involves maximizing room and F&B revenue through lead generation, client relationship management, and coordination of events. Reporting to the Sales Manager your responsibilities will include:

  • Handling group/event inquiries, site visits, negotiations, and contracts
  • Maintaining and growing key client accounts
  • Following up with clients during, and post-events to secure repeat business
  • Staying up to date on the Hotel offerings, competitor activity, and market trends
  • Coordinating sales activities to boost occupancy and revenue
  • Managing event logistics, bookings, and administrative tasks
  • Supporting the reservations team and covering duty manager shifts when needed
  • Ensuring smooth execution of events in collaboration with other departments
  • Covering of Duty Management Shifts - once to twice monthly

Working Hours: Monday - Saturday: 08:00 - 16:30 (on a roster basis) + occasional Duty Manager shifts - 14:00 - 22:30.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years’ of local experience in a similar role
  • Must hold an excellent level of written and verbal English and other European languages are an asset
  • Strong administrative and MS Office skills
