Our client, operating within the Aviation Industry is looking for a Sales and Marketing Executive to set sales revenue targets by maintaining and developing business relationships with major corporates and corporate travel agents and leisure agents, other selected independent business travel agents and their respective clients.
Responsibilities:
- Promoting and selling airline routes, fares, and services through telephone, email, and various communication platforms.
- Negotiate, manage, and follow up on incentive agreements with corporate and leisure clients; regularly review and evaluate their performance.
- Handle group travel requests and bookings by responding to all inquiries with accurate quotations and timely follow-up.
- Monitor regional sales performance, analyze forward-looking data, and recommend actions to optimize revenue generation.
- Collaborate closely with the Marketing and Sales departments to develop and implement effective sales and marketing strategies.
- Maintain strong relationships with travel agencies, tour operators, and special interest groups to sustain and grow existing business.
- Identify, assess, and pursue new business opportunities within assigned portfolios and market segments.
- Represent the company as a brand ambassador by attending industry functions, trade shows, and conferences on a regular basis.
Applicants must be willing to travel frequently on business
Requirements
- Have an excellent level of spoken and written English. Any additional languages will be considered an asset
- Sales & Target driven
- Be confident, able to work independently using their own initiative and highly organised
- Have strong communication and interpersonal skills
Education and Experience
- Experience with an airline or travel agency will be given preference
- Proficiency in Airline Systems software
