Risk Officer

Our client, a well established CSP, is seeking to recruit a Risk Officer. The selected candidate will have the following responsibilities: 

• Maintaining and updating internal risk assessments to inform management reporting and business decisions.
• Regularly reviewing and validating risk data to ensure it remains accurate, complete, and relevant.
• Monitoring emerging risks as well as changes in regulatory, market, and operational environments.
• Managing and continuously updating the organization’s internal risk register.
• Tracking and reporting on the progress of mitigation plans and control measures.
• Preparing clear and comprehensive risk reports and presentations for senior management, the board, and clients.
• Developing and enhancing risk management policies, procedures, frameworks, and templates.
• Providing expert risk advisory services, including risk assessments, control reviews, risk mapping, and mitigation planning.
• Supporting clients in implementing and strengthening their risk management frameworks.
• Contributing to business continuity and crisis management planning for internal and client operations.
• Coordinating and supporting both internal and external audits related to risk management.
• Designing and delivering risk management training and awareness programs for staff and clients.
• Conducting due diligence and risk evaluations for new initiatives, projects, and partnerships.
• Ensuring adherence to all legal, regulatory, and contractual risk-related obligations.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role
• Strong knowledge in related laws, regulatory requirements and other related standards
• Highly skilled in analysis, communication, and report preparation
• Possess excellent intrapersonal skills

Education and Experience

• Possess a Bachelors related Degree
