Our client an establisheed firm offering risk advisory services is seeking to recruit for a Risk Analyst. The Risk Analyst will form part of a a# team of risk and compliance analysts who focus on understanding, identifying, measuring and monitoring risks within the portfolios of the firm’s clients. The person would be assisting risk managers in:
Conducting the risk assessment of subject persons, interpretation of results and preparing a plan of action
Identifying and monitoring any significant changes and risk trends and updating risk profiles
Reviewing clients' investment and risk management process and operational arrangements
Monitoring of client trading activity and investment limits
Internal and external reporting of risk statistics, exposures, controls and regulatory data
Requirements
Relevant degree/qualification or relevant professional experience, ideally with a strong mathematical background
Some knowledge of risk analysis including, metrics determination, control effectiveness assessment, risk monitoring and other risk measurements and control techniques
Knowledge of AML regulatory framework will be considered an asset.
Capacity to work under pressure and with strict deadlines
Excellent work ethic, ability to work on own initiative with minimal supervision
Local risk experience is required
Knowledge of funds and payments industry considered an asset
