Our client is looking to recruit a Quality Support Specialist to join their growing team.
The chosen candidate will ensure that manufactured products meet the quality standards agreed upon with the customer. This role involves developing quality systems, supporting employee training, and driving product and process improvements through continuous improvement initiatives, as well as corrective and preventive actions.
The key responsibilities include:
- Participate in and update Process FMEA.
- Represent the Quality Department in job planning.
- Track and follow up on departmental actions daily and weekly.
- Create new product control plans (PQIS, RICP).
- Support the Quality Engineer in projects, focusing on BIQ costs and savings.
- Assist with external customer complaint investigations and communication.
- Support OpEx initiatives and Floor Management Systems (Gemba, Escalations, Daily Routines, TIPS) as needed.
- Analyze statistical data and propose actions to improve Built-in-Quality costs.
- Develop Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instructions based on expertise or Quality Engineer guidance.
- Manage and reduce Quarantine stock by addressing open actions with cross-functional teams.
- Perform Gage R&R activities for shop floor staff.
- Assist the Quality Engineer with investigations and follow up on Process Quality issues.
- Provide training on quality-related topics within departments.
- Foster a culture of collaboration and knowledge sharing within the company
Requirements
- Understanding of manufacturing practices and lean processes is a plus
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Energetic, organised individual who can plan and prioritize work in a timely manner
- Eager to learn and grow
Education and Experience
- Minimum of 2- 3 years experience in a Quality Department, or related function
- Minimun of MQL Level 4 (A-levels)
- Qualified Engineers with experience in Quality will be given preference
