We are looking for a Quality Manager who will report to senior leadership within Operations and Development and will be accountable for establishing, implementing, and maintaining effective Quality systems across the Group. This position includes direct responsibility for the Quality Assurance teams at two manufacturing sites in Malta, as well as oversight of all Quality-related activities at an international Group facility, ensuring alignment with internal standards, policies, and customer expectations.
Responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and manage QA teams across the Malta-based manufacturing sites.
Provide guidance and oversight on Quality activities at the Group’s international plant, ensuring consistency with Group standards.
Ensure adherence to relevant industry standards, customer requirements, and regulatory obligations.
Drive root cause analysis, along with corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Collaborate closely with Operations, Development, and Engineering teams to enhance processes and support new product introductions.
Track, analyze, and report Quality performance metrics to senior stakeholders.
Foster a culture focused on Quality excellence and continuous improvement across all locations.
Skills & Requirements
Demonstrated experience in a Quality Management role within a manufacturing environment (experience in injection moulding or similar industries is advantageous).
Strong leadership and team management capabilities, including experience overseeing multi-site or geographically dispersed teams.
Solid understanding of Quality Management Systems and continuous improvement practices.
Experience handling audits, customer concerns, and regulatory compliance is considered beneficial.
Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively engage stakeholders at all levels.
Willingness to travel as required, including visits to international operations, suppliers, and customers.
Proactive and hands-on mindset, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
