Our client who specializes in the Oil and Gas industry is looking for a Project Engineer Manager to be based in Libya. Your roles and responsibilities will include:
Managing complex plant construction projects, ensuring operational excellence
Leading interdisciplinary teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and professional growth
Overseeing budget and actively participating in quality management to meet standards and goals
Facilitating effective communication and coordination between stakeholders
Championing team and department development, implementing strategies to enhance performance and growth.
Overseeing Mechanical Projects holistically including FEED Study, Engineering, Project Management, Tender Evaluations/Bidding Activities and Project Execution
Based in Libya - Frequent travel
Requirements
Experience in project management, ideally in plant construction
Commitment to environmental and safety standards in the oil and gas industry. Skilled in managing and optimizing KPIs
Fluent in English, with strong communication and leadership skills
Willingness for national and international travel
At least 5 years of previous experience on site in a similar job is a must
Education and Experience
Technical degree, preferably in BSC mechanical engineering.
