Our client is looking to onboard a Project Coordinator to support with the coordinating of daily operations, liaising with subcontractors, and monitoring on-site progress to ensure projects are completed on schedule and in line with quality standards. The candidate will ensure the successful delivery of projects under the direction of the Commercial and Operations Manager.
Responsibilities
Lead and manage installation projects from initiation through to completion, ensuring delivery within scope, timeline, and quality standards
Plan, schedule, and coordinate daily project activities in alignment with client requirements and agreed timelines
Oversee on-site operations, monitor progress against milestones, and promptly address technical, operational, or logistical challenges
Conduct regular site visits and project meetings to track performance, mitigate risks, and ensure smooth execution
Maintain clear and proactive communication with clients, providing progress updates, managing expectations, and resolving concerns professionally
Coordinate logistics, including the dispatch, delivery, storage, and availability of equipment and materials to prevent delays
Manage project inventory, tools, vehicles, and on-site storage to ensure operational readiness
Supervise subcontractors to ensure quality workmanship, compliance with company standards, and adherence to project specifications
Support subcontractor onboarding and workforce planning, identifying and addressing staffing needs to meet project demands
Ensure full compliance with safety regulations, industry standards, and client-specific requirements
Conduct ongoing quality inspections and risk assessments, escalating site risks and resource needs to the Commercial and Operations Manager as required
Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation and progress reports for leadership review
Provide leadership, guidance, and training to project teams, promoting quality, safety, and continuous improvement
Participate in project coordination meetings to facilitate efficient execution and successful project delivery
Requirements
Minimum of 2+ years in a Project Coordination/Management position
Proficient in Maltese & English, both written and verbal
A valid driving license
Technical background in mechanical, electrical, or building services engineering preferred
Experience coordinating subcontractors, site teams, and third-party suppliers
Previous involvement in construction or engineering project coordination roles
