A client of ours, is searching for a Project Coordinator to support the Commercial and Operations Manager in delivering installation projects efficiently. Responsible for day-to-day coordination, subcontractor management, and on-site progress to ensure timely, high-quality project completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all stages of lift installation projects from start to finish.
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate daily project activities in line with client timelines and standards.
- Monitor site progress, conduct visits, and resolve technical or logistical issues.
- Oversee contractor performance and ensure adherence to quality and safety standards.
- Communicate proactively with clients, providing updates and managing expectations.
- Coordinate logistics for equipment delivery, storage, and inventory.
- Support subcontractor onboarding and ensure compliance with company procedures.
- Identify staffing needs and assist in team recruitment.
- Conduct quality checks, risk assessments, and maintain detailed project documentation.
- Promote safety, quality, and continuous improvement within project teams.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s licence is a must
- Experience in lift installations is an asset
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Outlook, etc.).
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and site plans.
- Sound knowledge of project scheduling, resource planning, and quality control.
- Strong grasp of lift components, installation sequencing, and commissioning processes.
Education and Experience
- Understanding of lift installation processes, site safety standards, and industry regulations
- Knowledge of project coordination or management preferred
- Technical background in mechanical, electrical, or building services engineering preferred
- Experience coordinating subcontractors, site teams, and third-party suppliers
- Previous involvement in construction or engineering project coordination roles.
