Flooring Project and Sales Coordinator

Our client is looking to recruit a Flooring Project and Sales Coordinator to join their growing team.

The chosen candidate will:

• Oversee all aspects of flooring and carpeting installation projects.
• Manage scheduling, resource allocation, and quality assurance to ensure timely and successful delivery.
• Monitor project progress, resolve issues, and implement corrective actions where needed.
• Collaborate with installation crews, subcontractors, and internal teams to align on project objectives and timelines.
• Ensure smooth workflow across departments and effective communication among stakeholders.
• Conduct pre-installation site visits to verify readiness and identify potential challenges.
• Assess site conditions to confirm schedules are practical and achievable.
• Perform quality checks during and after installations.
• Identify potential flooring and carpeting opportunities through networking, referrals, and site visits.
• Conduct initial project assessments and provide input to the sales team in developing new business.
• Promote and sell complementary commercial products (e.g., vacuums, maintenance systems) to enhance client service offerings.
• Support clients with product knowledge and after-sales service guidance.
• Act as the main point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure clarity, responsiveness, and high levels of client satisfaction.
• Build and maintain long-term client relationships.

Requirements

• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lead teams and coordinate with subcontractors.

Education and Experience

• Proven experience in project management within the construction, flooring, or interiors industry is a must.
• Sales aptitude and ability to identify business opportunities is a must.
• Proficiency in project management tools/software is a must.
• Must be located in Malta holding local experience in the industry.
