Our client, pertaining to the industry of development and management of Real Estate, is currently seeking a proactive and hands-on Facilities and Projects Coordinator to join their team. Reporting to the Properties Manager, the ideal candidate will play a key role in the coordination and execution of building maintenance activities, property upgrades, and new development projects. The key responsibilities will include the following:
- Provide day-to-day operational and administrative support to the Properties Manager.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, suppliers, and service providers for both ongoing projects and new developments.
- Assist with the office leasing process, including scheduling and conducting property viewings.
- Plan, manage, and monitor scheduled and ad-hoc maintenance tasks for properties.
- Supervise contractors, maintenance teams, and security personnel, ensuring adherence to quality standards and contract terms.
- Prepare, update, and manage technical documentation and office layout plans.
- Track contractor performance and ensure works are delivered to the required standard.
- Maintain organized records for maintenance activities and project documentation.
- Act as the point of contact for tenants, resolving issues promptly and efficiently.
- Support tenant office fit-outs, relocations, refurbishments, and handovers.
- Perform basic maintenance tasks as required.
- Respond quickly to building-related emergencies and manage follow-up actions.
Requirements
- Previous experience in building maintenance and facility management.
- Familiarity with preventive maintenance planning and emergency procedures.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, floor plans, and documentation.
- Knowledge of building safety standards, health regulations, and security protocols.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with AutoCAD is an asset.
- Strong organisational, coordination, and communication skills.
- A hands-on approach and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
